EmpowerED is the O’Pake Institute's career connections program designed as a comprehensive, hands-on experience to guide high school students in discovering their passions, exploring career paths, and building essential skills for the future. Internship Opportunities
The O'Pake Institute's High School Internship Program is a transformative experiential learning opportunity designed to empower and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs, innovators and change makers. This program aims to provide high school students with hands-on experiences, foster entrepreneurial thinking, and offer valuable support to local businesses in the community. Through a dynamic blend of real-world projects, mentorship, and collaboration with local businesses, participants will gain practical skills, develop a growth mindset, and make a positive impact on the local economy.
Work on projects in prototype development, CAD, biomedical sciences, and technology, gaining hands-on STEAM and health sciences experience.
Gain hands-on experience in website development, logo design, content creation, branding, and social media marketing.
Explore the financial field through budgeting, financial analysis, business planning, and venture investment principles.
Build skills in community outreach and engagement, non-profit development, event planning, and program support
